Str8 up tacos was born from the simple premise of creating and eating healthy foods that nourish the mind, body and soul.
Food is a simple, yet effective way to heal, nourish and more importantly bring people together over a meal. The relationship with food for co owners Christopher Ruiz and Lachelle Robinson is personal, and this is their special journey. As a personal trainer, Christopher harnessed good food choices to make his and his clients lives better. Wholesome food choices and personally turning to becoming a vegan was a life changing experience for him and he continues to want to bring that to his customers at Str8 up tacos.
Lachelle Robinson’s love affair with food started very early in life where she looked at vegetables and tried constantly to try to make different soups for her family. Those experiments in her family’s home then led her to becoming a Sous Chef from the acclaimed culinary school Le Cordon Bleu where she honed her skills. She has worked in internationally acclaimed kitchens all over Los Angeles and is now ready for this new adventure
Str8 up tacos mission is to first and foremost hold those same values they believe in and prepare wholesome, healthy and customized meals for their customers.
As their first business venture together, Christopher and Lachelle are excited to make this a road map for a life long pursuit of bringing the best to our tables and palettes..
